Investor Education at the Jacobs Center
The date: Monday, January 10th, 2011
The time: 7 to 9 pm
Location: The Community Room, First Floor
We are pleased to provide the first in a series of Investor Education seminars at the Jacobs Center. It is vital to choose our investments wisely and not be part of the herd that blindly follows hot tips. Investor Education is the answer. Investor Education permits you to be in control of your own financial destiny.
Our initial seminars will be presented by Dale Davis and Seymour "Zinc" Zeenkov. Dale is a Director and Past President of Better Investing's San Diego Chapter and Zinc is a Director of InvestEd, Inc. InvestEd produces national level investor education conferences.
Dale will present "Pillars". This presentation describes the building blocks of analysis that lead to fruitful stock selection. Zinc will present "Fundamental Investing - An Introduction". Here we learn the basics for choosing stocks of high quality and growth at a reasonable price.
Whether you are a beginning investor or experienced, you are bound to benefit from these seminars. Come join us.
Meetings are open to the public...
Note: Reminder of the coming InvestEd2011 conference. You can find information about this special San Diego event May 13-15, 2011 by clicking on InvestEd2011.
If you're new to the BI community, come early. Chapter Directors arrive at 6:30 pm to welcome newcomers and explain who we are, as well as our investing methodology, philosophy and tools.
The easiest directions to the Jacobs Center are to take state route 94 to Euclid and exit south to Market. Then turn right on market and at the first light, turn left into the Jacobs Center Campus on Market Creek Place Driveway. Ample parking is down the driveway and to your right as you come to the main building.
